The school offers a broad and balanced curriculum which is designed to match the educational needs of the children. Our objective is to equip the students with knowledge, skills and values which will enable them to take the Examination with responsibility and effectiveness, gain life skills for their personal and professional development and grow into young adults who are socially aware of their responsibilities. The school advocates the system of integrated curriculum in which a unit/topic is taught across different disciplines using a specific set of methods. This helps our children to make connections across curriculum. Activities, project work, presentations, educational trips, guest lectures are an indispensable part of our curriculum so that the concept formation is strong and lasting

Co-Curriculum activities

Co-curriculum activities-are a vital part of the curriculum it gives a winning edge and enhances the personality development. We provide a wide range of these activities like Music, Dance and Western and Indian Instrumental music etc. The aim of this curriculum is to achieve the objective of imbibing the application, analytical and creative skills in our students.

For the tiny tots, the play-way method of teaching is adopted and individual attention is paid to make learning a pleasurable pursuit. Wherever possible, an extensive use of audio-visual aids and practical demonstrations are also carried out to ensure learning is not a monotonous experience, but an enriching and interesting activity.

EARLY YEARS CURRICULUM AND PEDAGOGY

We at CAIS firmly believe that children learn best when they are actively engaged in purposeful learning. Our curriculum for Early Year Programme clearly defines what is to be taught and teacher’s use their knowledge of children’s interest, strength and capabilities to identify the most effective way to teach curriculum content. In Pre-School and Pre-Primary classes, it is our endeavor and objective to provide all children with a great start to learning at Early Years. Applying age appropriate pedagogies provides a strong foundation for the young learners. Our teaching pedagogies promote children’s active, independent observation and exploration of concrete materials to develop concepts and skills. Through a series of activities specially designed for them, they clearly envision a clear image of what they have to accomplish thus developing self-discipline, self-reliance, and intrinsic motivation.
